Chirigotas in Cadiz
Thematic Routes
chirigotas in Cadiz

In the Andalusian capital of the Extreme South, carnivals are always colourful and joyous affairs. Situated in historic surroundings and caressed by the Mediterranean sea, what else could Cadiz do but offer a fancy-dress carnival that's filled with both - joy and light-.

The "Chirigotas" are songs where self-mockery and caricatures of themselves reflect the easy-gay nature of the people of Cadiz.

You won't even have to worry about which fancy-dress costume to wear, as we'll provide one for you. We'll meet up also in a Carnival's Organising Committee, who'll introduce us to the fiesta and tell us all about it.
To cap it all, the cuisine of Cadiz and its fine wines of repute, provide the culinary icing on the cake!

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
